Alternate route

It's time to spice things up with new growing medium. Today I went to Earl May and got 60 cups made from some sort of degradable material along with some seed starter. Seed starter is a very fluffy material, way fluffier than anything I used so far. It's also supposed to be sterilized, hopefully helping with fungus control. I planted 14 remaining germinated seeds into the brown cups starting from longest (17) to shortest (30):

The idea is to move the surviving seedlings from the very short 5" cups into the longer containers. The idea is that the containers are so easy to split aparts that it will help with moving them into larger containers.

I just can not build larger and longer containers fast enough. So far 31 out of 100 un-stratified seeds germinated. I suspect at least 10 more will do in the next week or so. Then I have another 600 in the fridge for 2 weeks now. This is fascinating but amount of work is tremendous to keep all these seeds processed.
